How to: wear white for summer

Notre Dame was my first stop in Paris; the historical place that it is and also full of tourists; it was a beautiful sunny day and I could not wait to experiment with white. Summer can be light or bright, even both if like me you like to improvise. I wanted to improvise a little with the white hues, but more of classy like leather and satin. Opting for a timeless look in Topshop’s midi skirt in white couldn’t look more pristine and perfect for the day wear.

H&M has quite some collection of satin blouses and I ended up grabbing a few for the trip. Army green was one other shade that I wanted to play around with and it was a quintessential chic combo!

Arriving at Notre-Dame felt like I lived so many movies in it. It felt beautiful and grateful to be able to see it.

Exploring Notre Dame

When I am traveling, usually on feet, I stick to mini-bags and kitten heels so that I can make the most of  my travel. As a backup, I usually keep a pair of white sneakers as they are universally flattering! If you are not a sneakers person, espadrilles is your  best bet.

Le Marais

Le Marais

We went to Le Marais for some coffee and croissant. With its beautiful door that make gorgeous backdrops, one cannot help but go head over heels.

Sunset at Louvré

Our day ended with a beautiful sunset watch at Louvré. The historical buildings and glimpse of Eiffel tower with Champs Elysees right in front of you is a day-dream. It was magical especially because we were yet to see Eiffel Tower and you can only imagine my excitement to look forward to seeing the wonder of the world.
