Shearling is this winter’s every girls’ favorite. From coats to bags to jackets, I don’t know of anyone who does not own one piece of shearling in their closet. But, if you still are dubious of the hype, this guide is for you.First and foremost, shearling is so cozy. Secondly, there is nothing like “work appropriate”. You can take shearling from the casual street style to nine to five work. If you are wondering that shearling makes you look puffed up, try a slim pair of velvet pants to balance everything. Since the day I saw flared pants on Ellery ’17, I have been obsessed with them. Especially because I hate wearing high heels and flare pants make me look pretty tall.
Pop of color is another of my favorite thing to do, when outfit is simple or to bring out the contrasts. Zara’s sock boots are my go-to’s for the contrasting outfits. To complete the look, a beret or baker boy hat is quintessential, if not a beanie. Since I was traveling to Utah, beret was a little too classy for the location.
