Basics has always been my go-to choice, whether it is summer or winter. The easiest way to wear anything statement is by choosing a good layer. While it is true for summer, that we don’t need any layers; a white fine knit sweater is useful for any day of the year. Because of its lightweight, it is useful for a breezy spring or a freezing winter. For instance, on my trip to Utah, I bought this for the sole purpose of layering with a statement coat. Luckily, the weather was warm so, I did not need any jacket. But also, because it was filled with natural landscape, I packed more basics than anything else; along with my fun accessories like an easy to carry bucket bag and sock boots.
To vamp up the basics, I added a metal accessory and pop of red. I cannot express enough, my obsession for red boots. It has become one of my rut these days. These boots are comfortable too; just that they are not meant for hiking. But otherwise, I would practically wear them anywhere.
Basics are so much fun and essential because you need just one(or two) statement piece to make it stand out. It’s the easiest and the most laziest way to dress in 60 seconds”
I used to be secretly afraid of white, but this year I have learned to embrace my fear and so the white and needless to say that it’s growing on me. Anytime, I want to go for a coffee run or a grocery store, a fine knit is my go-to. I switch up my accessories based on where I am heading.
